Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Residential Construction Sr Project Manager based in Lake Wylie, SC. The Sr Project Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of residential construction projects from inception to completion. Key responsibilities include planning project timelines, managing budgets, liaising with clients and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations, and delivering projects on time and within budget.


Responsibilities 

  • Review plans and request quotes for trade work to complete project in budget
  • Schedule and manage subcontractors
  • Create and maintain project schedules
  • Approve and code project invoices
  • Track project change orders, write change orders as necessary
  • Manage superintendents
  • Prepare cost reports and report to company President directly
  • Apply and maintain proper residential permitting
  • Enter time card and expense receipts for yourself every Friday
  • Meet with clients as necessary
  • Attend weekly Monday meetings to update team on project progress


Qualifications

  • Expertise in Project Coordination, Construction Project Management, Residential Construction
  • Proficient in Budgeting and Project Management
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work on-site and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred
  • Associates or trade degrees accepted with appropriate experience
  • Several years of experience in residential construction management
